چکیده
Graphitic carbon nitride materials have attracted significant interest in recent years and found applications diverse light-to-energy conversions such as artificial photosynthesis, CO2 reduction, or degradation of organic pollutants. However, their utilization synthetic photocatalysis, especially the direct functionalization C(sp3)–H bonds, remains underexplored. Herein, we report mesoporous graphitic (mpg-CN) a heterogeneous semiconductor photocatalyst for arylation bonds combination with nickel catalysis. Our protocol has broad scope (>70 examples including late-stage drugs agrochemicals), is operationally simple, shows high chemo- regioselectivities. Facile separation recycling mpg-CN catalyst its low preparation cost, innate photochemical stability, toxicity are beneficial features overcoming typical shortcomings homogeneous photocatalysis. Detailed mechanistic investigations kinetic studies indicate that an unprecedented energy-transfer process (EnT) from to complex operating.

متن کاملCrystallinity Modulation of Layered Carbon Nitride for Enhanced Photocatalytic Activities
As an emerging metal-free semiconductor, covalently bonded carbon nitride (CN) has attracted much attention in photocatalysis. However, drawbacks such as a high recombination rate of excited electrons and holes hinder its potential applications. Tailoring the crystallinity of semiconductors is an important way to suppress unwanted charge recombination, but has rarely been applied to CN so far. ...

We report a new and effective method to prepare high activity graphitic carbon nitride (g-C3N4) by a simple ammonia etching treatment. The obtained g-C3N4 displays a high BET surface area and enhanced electron/hole separation efficiency. The hydrogen evolution rates improved from 52 μmol h(-1) to 316.7 μmol h(-1) under visible light.
